32ND MATRICULATION CEREMONY OF FCA ISHIAGU

Federal College of Agriculture, Ishiagu formally admitted over one thousand students into the various academic programmes of the College. The Ceremony was held with strict adherence to the NCDC Covid19 guidelines.
NOVEMBER 2020

The 32nd matriculation ceremony of the Federal College of Agriculture Ishiagu held on the 20th of November 2020. The ceremony which held at the matriculation arena of the College attracted important dignitaries including the state Governor Engr. David Nweze Umahi who was represented by the Commissioner for Education Dr Onyebuchi China, the Executive secretary of the Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria (ARCN), who was represented by Prof. Bello Zaki Abubakar, the Ebonyi state Commissioner for agriculture chief Ogodoali Moses Nomeh, the Chairman Governing Board of the College; Hon Gbagede, among others.

 

The Provost of the College Dr M.O. Okoronkwo in his address congratulated the matriculants and urged them to be of good behaviour, shun cultism and other antisocial behaviours and be ready to impact the society positively. The state Governor while acknowledging the strategic role being played by the College in Ebonyi State as regards food production, urged the institution to establish out stations in different parts of the state to make their impact felt more at the grassroots.
