Dr. Michael Okoronkwo has been appointed as the new and substantive Provost of Federal College of Agriculture, FCA, Ishiagu. The appointment which took effect from 21st August, 2020 is for a single term of five years.
In his letter of appointment dated 24th August, 2020, and signed by Prof. Garba Hamidu Sharubutu (mni), The Executive Secretary, Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria (ARCN), Dr. Okoronkwo was charged with the responsibility to provide innovative leadership to the College in line with the Federal Government’s drive to reposition agriculture towards achieving sustainable food security.
Until his appointment, Dr. Okoronkwo has been an assiduous staff of the College. The entire staff and students of the College wish him a fruitful term in office as he begins the task of taking the College to greater heights.
